Introduction

  1. A section of the site has been attributed to a proofreader (PR). See the site map for the current situation. Click on the subject of your section, and you will go to the Section Map, with a clickable list of the current files. If you're not sure of the list, send a mail to the webmaster Luc Matthijs.
  2. Clicking on the subject of their assignment will jump the PR to the Section Map which lists the current files.
    If the Section Map does not exist, and you are uncertain of the list, send an e-mail to the webmaster.
  3. The PR will receive the URL and notification whenever a page has been changed. But he can also use the "Netminder" icon on the Section Map, and register that page. He will be notified automaticly of all changes. [The Netminder icon will be added soon]
    Whenever you have difficulty in accessing a page, please notifiy the webmaster to make arrangements for the page to be sent as an E-Mail attachment.
  4. METHOD:
    1. HTML conversions will be done by the webmaster.
    2. Import the subject page using MS Word 97 (preferred), or any other suitable word processing program.
    3. Select ALL text, and reset BOLD text to NORMAL text.
    4. Verify and proofread the text -- setting any CHANGES/CORRECTIONS as BOLD text.
    5. Please DO NOT make changes to:
      • Original text and/or transcription(s)
      • Names of Individuals, Places, etc. -- EXCEPT for real typos.
      • Citations, etc.
    6. Any doubts about the meaning of a Belgian word, please contact JF Languy, your ST for proofreading.
  5. Upon completion, reply to the original e-mail, attaching the corrected version of the document.
