In this section you will find descendants charts, etc .. submitted by researchers subscribed to the BELGIUM-ROOTS-L mail list. They will probably exchange with you more details, when you contact them
Guidelines for submitting these files
Subscribers of the BELGIUM-ROOTS-L have already posted on the list the family genealogy of one or more branches of families, about whom they can exchange more information.
You can submit also, if you are subscribed to the BELGIUM-ROOTS-L Mail list. Post your genealogy on that list, and mention in your posting that the genealogy can be uploaded on the BELGIUM-ROOTS site. The webmaster will send you a reply that he has read your posting and filed your request for upload. Once done he will send you a second reply with the exact URL of the page(s)
Keep in mind that we want to keep our postings small. So limit your posting to about 8K (ASCII format). = limit each genealogy to about 2 pages A4/Letter
The webmaster will refuse the upload of genealogies, that do contain data about living persons. Except if you explicitly declare that you have the consent of those living persons to publish these data. Publication of data concerning persons of younger then 18 years old will be refused in all cases.
If you have already posted your genealogy on the BELGIUM-ROOTS-L mail list, then you can send a request to upload directly to the webmaster. Search the URL of your posting in the archives of the mail list in the "browse" section and mention that URL in your request. It's suggested that you copy/paste the URL in your message, so that no typo's are made.
