- The following format is required to qualify for publication in this List:
SURNAME ; Place, Country ; year from - year to ; researcher's e-mail address
- ; Semicolon ... MUST be used as a separator between the six fields;
- , Comma ... used to specify the province, or county, in which the place is located [click here for a list]
- > Lesser-than sign ... used to indicate the place of first settlement;
- / Slash ... used to separate two years, to indicate a period if you are not sure about the exact year of immigration.
- The researcher's email address can be different of the one used for the mail list.
- Post only if the data isn't on the site or must be changed.
- Don't post if only your email address has changed
- If so send a mail to the webmaster with the subject "Roll Call address change"
- And send that mail CC to the old AND the new address
- The webmaster will confirm the reception of your mail with replying to all
- Start the subject line with Resident Roll Call.
- Only (1) relevant data entry per surname.
- But several surnames possible in a posting
- If data must be chnaged, mention only those surnames that must be changed
- Place the known and documented surname variations in (), whereby the original Belgian surname must be placed first
- Ex: JUNGERS (YOUNGERS)
- If you use IE4 or NS4 and higher, you can click on the following link.
- It will start your mail package and prepare the mail to post on the list
- You have only to add a line for each person you want to submit.
- The header line can remain or can be deleted, as you wish. It's only there to show the format of each line.
