The House at the right side was once the Kommandatur of the Deutsch occupation army...

...just in front of the "Shooted Wall Memorial" to the Tamines's Civilians executed by the Germans in 1914. (The incription nearly readable : Louis Vandeloise, husband of Juliette Coquette, shooted the 22th of August 1814.
