  Oostende did incorporate parts of the following municipalities: Stene, Bredene and Mariakerke.

• 1970

  The former municipalities Stene and Zandvoorde are in 1971 attached to Oostende, with parts of the municipalities of Middelkerke, Leffinge and Bredene.
